Times are weird. The US dollar is losing purchasing power due to inflation while strengthening against other currencies and assets. The stock market, real estate, crypto AND precious metals are down because people are fleeing to the "safety" of the dollar. where else can we put our investment money? I can't afford to see my savings of around $320,000 turn to dust in front of my eyes.

Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR) is incompetent …, at best, and as such he has absolutely no business being in any position of leadership, much less being a United States Congressman. The reality that Rep. Westerman can't seem to grasp is that this current surge in inflation is the result of the greed/avarice of the now global conglomerate Big Corporate Business entities, which includes Big Oil, who have no restraint whatsoever when it comes to raising prices which they do on caprice without there being any appreciable increase in the cost of production. EXAMPLE: BBC News YouTube, 11/1/2022. "BP posts an $8.2 billion profit for the July to September quarter that is 2 Xs the same period a year ago."
What we now have here is the United Mafia States of America that is being run by a totally corrupted federal government whose elected and appointed officials appear to be for sale to the highest bidder with this corruption being enabled by an equally corrupt news media, in my opinion, that is owned by the same corporate entities that owns our federal government. The really ironic aspect of it all is that we the people are funding this enterprise with our electronically generated (QE) monies which monies we the people are supposed to be too ignorant to be able to recognize, but at the same time more and more Americans are waking up to the reality of quantitative easing that most certainly does provide federal funding to – "Infinitum" – to quote Fed Chairman Powell. We the peoples' electronically generated (QE) monies are being shoveled to the status quo elitist by the means them being awarded federal contracts that are funded with QE funds and then there is the absence of any kind of price controls on those now global corporate entities who produce essential consumer goods/products. This corruption that allows this unrestrained greed/avarice, in my opinion, is THE CAUSE for this current surge in inflation, NOT SPENDING and NOT EVEN EXCESSIVE SPENDING.
Think about the flawed logic these corrupt politicians and the corrupt media is trying to force down our throat; here we have record inflation without any cost of production increase for the top tier corporate entities, and note, we're talking about the top tier corporate entities, but instead we can see the record profits that they are raking in despite Putin's war on Ukraine and despite Biden's war on Big Oil. This is how ignorant these people think that we are and yet, how are we to voice our understanding of the real cause for this inflation? In this comment section that can be easily censored/suppressed/erased?
