When I went we still could climb the pyramids . Because of concerns about people getting injured and preservation they no longer allow people to do it . When in other countries follow their laws
It doesn't make sense that pyramid was used as an altar for sacrifices of children and anybody cutting out their hearts why does it even matter about what this person did
So glad to see these “influencers” facing consequences for their actions. The sickness consumes everything they do when they are evaluating everyday life decisions to “I should make a video for this”
This ruling has definitely happened since I climbed it way back early 2000. I was told by the tour guide that it was the third highest pyramid in the world. Doesn’t look very high from the ground but mightily high from on top! Like others I came down in a sitting position each step very slowly.
I don't think that is fair to bully her like that. Chinese tourists are notorious for doing culturally inappropriate things in other countries like defecating in public or being disrespectful and sacred places and I would be disgust if people in the UK treated a Chinese tourist like this for making a mistake. Wherever this woman is from she clearly didn't know what she was doing. Everyone concerned in this incident should be ashamed of themselves, the woman and the mob of bullies.
I climbed that pyramid in 1982. It was allowed, and lots of people climbed it, both Mexicans and foreign. As far as I could figure out, it had no spiritual or religious significance. All Mexicans around were Christian.
But if it damages the pyramid — yes, don't allow it. Preserve the monument.
She obviously shouldn't have done that and it could be considered disrespectful. However, the response from the locals was a little excessive. I saw a couple of people smiling after throwing water on her. Those weren't exactly the faces of outrage.
I knew those things were big but dam that's huge. You don't do that have some respect. I would love to see inside one of those but she was just being stupid
Still assaulting a woman or human throwing stuff at her. What laws change and the sheep become authoritarian violent defenders of the law even if the so called crime is walking lmao
In the old days, we blond jokes. Now we have blond joker!
Mfers really being racist in the comments 😂😂 Damn bro what happened? A Mexican guy steal your girl?

She probably got some curse!!!
She should have been sacrificed to the gods.

Doesn't help that she is Spanish.

I actually envy her. What an experience
What a waste of money if you can't see the top!
How dare she. The audacity. She is absolutely disgusting and vile. 🤮🤢🤑
I climbed it in 1982. I also climbed the old pyramid that's inside. I'm sad that it's not allowed anymore, but I understand why.
Is that thing a man or woman? I can't tell. Such disrespect to the country and culture!!!!
Wow, the people were actually pretty patient. Here in the US, people would do more than just throw water on her!
Every truly nice place I go there is a bit of disrespect, trash and graffiti ruining it for the rest of us
haole karen ho.
A Mexican jail, probably the last place I'd ever wanna end up smh
And she was never heard from again
Leg Day

You know she voted for Biden…
Yes, that was incredibly desresptdul. A hundred years ago she would’ve been killed that.
