  1. In this juli his time where the world is tuning and shifting, it comforting to know Tutu Pele is with us. Our ancestors our akua, our aumakua are still with us as Kanaka Maoli. Be respectful and let Tutu Pele do what she needs to do, stay out of her way, and welcome our Tutu wahine 'aloha nui! Remember when Tutu Pele is done with her work her dance, Tutu Hi'iakaikapoli'opele is soon to follow bringing new life to the newly formed land! Now it is time to leave offerings and pay respects to our ancestors who reside in the hale 'o Pele!

  5. The saddle road isn't exactly a "major highway"

  6. Volcano: volcanos.
    People on volcanic island: 🤯

I get that it might be inconvenient, no one wants to travel 3hrs to go to work, but. It's. A. Volcano.

  7. It's only 10 miles further to go the other way, big deal! Yeah white tourist chick

  8. Interesting times we are in…soon people will see…maybe …there are no natives left anywhere…Hawaii is no exception..would be hard pressed to find a true full blood Polynesian that has family running back 200…300 years on Island…yes there are some….most are mix like all of us..Chinese , Japanese , Mexican , Black ,White , Filipino , Korean , even the Polynesians displace the locals that were there when they colonized the Islands the Menehunes were there before the Polynesians and Tahitians that fought against the Menehunes and drove them into the mountains and jungle.. The Menehumes created huge Fishponds and stone walls and stone ditches to divert water for crops before the Polynesians got there….what are they teaching the kids in Hawaiian schools now days…Hate ?…Maybe hate yourself if your not 100 % Polynesian blood even then your race stole Hawaii from the Menehunes….so only Menehunes have the right to hate anyone on Hawaii that is not of their race…try finding a Menehune..anyways Menehune might just mean to the Polynesians not small people but undesirable people seen as very low in the caste system of the Polynesians very low with no power….not small in stature..seen that way so the Polynesians could feel better about taking Hawaii away from them…

  9. Don't feel sorry for them. They rich, white, and chose to live there. Not a single Native Hawaiian interviewed.

  10. WOW THAT LAVA IS MOVING FAST NO SILICA!!!!!

  11. It's almost as if choosing to live at the base of an active volcano might have been a bad idea.

  12. Nice to see them interviewing all the local white Hawaiian natives…

  13. Be grateful it's not one of those mean nasty volcanoes that explode and take half the mountain side and whatever is in it's path like Krakatoa or Mt St Helens. Make a new highway.

  14. I’m sure they knew about the cons of living on a volcano

  15. Can't you just put it out with water?

  16. Oh no! the inconvenience.

  17. man, you should all move…there is a volcano there… BE HAPPY YOUR'RE STILL ALIVE!!! OR MOVE!!!

  18. lol dont they call them haole's
