  4. IMAGINE HOW STRONG OUR COUNTRY WOULD BE IF CONGRESS SPENT THEIR DAYS WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ELECTED THEM INSTEAD OF THE PEOPLE WHO BUY THEM.

  5. I can’t believe that Russian agents tricked those rail workers into demanding better labor conditions! PUTIN MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!

  6. ESPAÑA VIOLA EL CODIGO DE NUREMBERG DE FORMA PERMANENTE.

  7. They need to handle you the files whatever they walk on you already know to know where for you the one on the left and the one on the right they need to tell you what business they need to do and handle you the file that's the way we walk you jay Kasongo king

  8. It's funny how The United States Railroad monopolies and Congress won't give there workers 7 measly days of sick leave for a pandemic that was forced upon the people by these utterly useless politicians.

The same group of people then turn around and talk s**t about China and how bad their Government is. At least China has functioning railroads and a very robust high speed train network. Where is America's high speed train network!? Oh that's right we don't have one! Why? Because these greedy Capitalist and fake ghews don't want America to have one. How come Congress cannot intervene and make these greedy Capitalist create a fast train network!? Probably because the automobile industry is is standing in the way. They are also ran by fake Ghews as well. Perhaps we should change all the flags on the Federal buildings to China's flag. Because America surly isn't the top leader any longer.

You suxx America and Israel! Fake Ghews!

  9. Manufacturing Consent just like Noam Chomsky said y'all would. The american news media truly is the propaganda arm of the elite

  10. The framing of this article is absolutely awful, and smacks of corporate boot licking.

  11. Keep voting for democrats and this is what u get.!!! Trump 2024!!

  12. The propaganda is palpable and people aint buying it! Time for a general strike

  13. Поверили в войну с Россией👍.

  14. I don’t care about my finances, your propaganda is useless to me

  15. If the american government would train & hire felons we wouldn't be in this position they would be grateful at another chance in life

  16. Loom at it on the bright side. Those guys won't have sick leave but you will still get your Amazon. We could stand a little increase in prices if we weren't already in record inflation.

  17. Don't worry. They told us Biden had fixed this before midterms but let me ask you this. Why would a union man bust a union?

  18. They get no sick paid leave, only unpaid.

  19. So what would stop them from striking in the future?

  20. Pass legislation to punish the rail companies for not giving 7 days of sick leave!

  21. I'm interested on the faces at the table. What is they're truly talking about…

  22. Did a 2 year old create this clip?!!? Lmao

  23. Performance pay breaks unions..

  24. Nice fear mongering capitalist propaganda

  25. I see you conveniently forgot that a strike could be avoided if the rail workers were treated with dignity and offered paid sick leave!

  26. Sounds like a "them" problem.

  27. Workers of the world unite!

  28. Very proud that everyone who isn’t the media and the government is taking the side of the workers.

  29. Absolute insanity that anyone is trying to spin this to make it seem like the union's fault. They're just asking for sick leave. Blame the company for holding the country hostage because they wanna save a couple bucks more a year.

  30. 60% of inflation since the pandemic has been caused by corporate profiteering, according to the very capitalist, not at all left-wing Economic Policy Institute.

Every time these corporate media propaganda outlets (who hold a virtual monopoly on news media) try to distract you from even acknowledging the role that 50 straight years of declining real wages (due to big capitalist owners suppressing wages & organized labor & eliminating even the center-left social democratic labor left from American politics so the only remaining forces are fascist far-right sociopaths & center/center-right neoliberals who serve the exact same ruling class interests (predominately big corporations, much like this one, & the billionaires who own the majority of shares in them, not coincidentally who have all the money & therefore in our highly undemocratic privately financed electoral system, are able to just buy politicians & end up controlling both parties), every time they glaringly fear-monger about inflation (which, yes, is becoming a big deal now, but accounts for only a small fraction of the total decline in wealth & living standards of the working class since the end of the 1960s, when the neoliberal turn started & the economic left & organized labor were basically eradicated & therefore there was no one to oppose the ultra-wealthy just imposing every single policy that maximizes their profits at our expense), you should put your hand on your wallet, because someone is trying to distract you while they take the last remaining dollars out of it.

Now they are ACTIVELY, BLATANTLY trying to turn the working class majority of Americans against their fellow workers who are trying to negotiate & demand better conditions (which historically end up benefiting even non-union workers in the long run, as when we win pro-labor legislation, when we win greater leverage & ability to demand slightly closer to fair & livable wages, other employers are forced to compete in a slightly less buyer-dominated the labor market, where the workers can actually negotiate, because they actually have a little stability, & OPTIONS.

The capitalist ruling class (& again always disproportionately the wealthiest & most powerful billionaires & mega-corps among them, because they have most of the resources of our entire society at their disposal at this point, after enjoying decades of record-breaking profits while the poor & working majority languished & more & more wealth that we produce was transferred away from us, despite rising productivity which could be lifting all boats if more fairly distributed) has spent the last half-century, & longer (but they’ve gotten their way year virtually unopposed, year after year, for about 50 years), have made it their mission to create rising “worker insecurity,” to maintain enough unemployed people that any strike, any effort to unionize or demand decent conditions, could be crushed effortlessly, by just labeling those organizers as “troublemakers,” during or in some cases even effectively blacklisting them, & replacing them with one of the many people they’ve kept so poor & jobless that they’ll take whatever crumbs they’re offered & just work 70, 80+ hours a week plus apply for welfare if that’s what it takes for them to make ends meet & scrape by… That’s the life they want for you. Why? Not for any higher human values, not for any of the BS reasons they proclaim, but just so they can make $1.7 billion instead of $1.6 billion, or $100 billion instead of $99 billion… It literally makes no difference to their standard of living at that level of extreme, intathomable largess… But they’re so singularly driven by the pursuit of profit & power for profit & power’s sake, even at the expense of others, that they couldn’t care less if it means hundreds of millions languish in poverty. They will still cut Social Security if it means more for them. They will cut Medicare, Medicaid. They will cut unemployment, place all kinds of ridiculous requirements even on *disability*. They’ll shred every social program, every public sector industry that could provide a universal need to everyone at cost, ensure that no one ever goes without a medications/surgery they need, has to go through the haste of dealing with the rigamarole for-profit insurance corporations routinely put people through, let alone literally goes BANKRUPT or DIES because they can’t afford a life-saving surgery/medication for themselves or a family member, or because they were injured & when they woke up it turns out that they’re being charged $6,000 they don’t have for a 2-3 mile ambulance ride… This stuff doesn’t happen in civilized countries— virtually every developed, wealthy country provides universal healthcare, at very least; it’s the only thing that works in an industry where demand is utterly inelastic (i.e. market forces of supply & demand CANNOT MANAGE IT, because it’s a basic need; people will pay for a medicine they need even if a capitalist like Eli Lilly greedily decides to charge $600 for insulin that it costs then $5 or $10 to make, because they know we’ll pay— we don’t have a choice! It’s literally that or die.

  31. Worst president ever how pathetic they don’t have money for the railroad workers but they have money for Ukraine. That’s why this country is so horrible right and the economy getting worse by the day

  32. It’s a shame that a union can hold our country hostage .

  33. Supreme Leader Biden would probably lock them in the train carts if he could get away with it.

  34. ABC news and their biased reporting. Workers are the backbone of this country not Big Corp. Biden and this news channel proved to us all that no matter if you strike, they’ll side with the company.

ABC news strikes again with corporate propaganda

  35. I can’t fucking win.

  36. We will fail everytime; it is in our nature 2 SIN. It is only through the
***(BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST)*** that we can acquire complete Forgiveness by Accepting Jesus as our Savior, and ask 4 FORGIVENESS of your SINS, and accept that JESUS shed His BLOOD 2 atone for your Sins if u repent.

Then PRAISE the name of GOD. And then ask God for HELP with anything that you need help with.

    It REALLY works.

  37. Fine. So tell the pigs in the railroad companies executive suites to provide paid sick leave to their workers. I bet the bloodsucking executives don't lose pay if they get sick. Why dump the responsibility for a strike on the workers? If Biden is as pro-union as he claims to be, he ought to do something for workers instead of just asking for their votes.

  38. Pure fake news could possibly according no facts

  39. Not a word on paid sick leave, y’all in the media so inhuman.

  40. Well here you go !!!
Buckle up we’re going for a ride of a life time if this continues
    Expect belly aches

  41. Aside from SOTU and voting, I’ve RARELY seen GOP and Dems at the same table…. America NEEDS more such sightings, but MOST importantly, RESULTS for America’s BEST interests.

  42. The real problem is the economy is already fucked. This is just an excuse. Also Biden has no power dont forget that

  43. Everything this idiotic administration does hurts America’s economy.

  44. The execs need to give the striking workers the two measly weeks of sick pay. That's all they're asking for – to go from *zero* sick days, to two weeks. It'll cost the entire industry – not an individual corporation, all rail companies combined – about $700 million a year, which is not much given the huge profits they rake in.

And it's not that much compared to what they waste trying to turn fellow American workers against the union rail folks!

They are not striking because they want to.

They're striking because they are being treated like they don't deserve lives outside of making the trains run. If they get sick, they run a real risk of being fired. They don't have regular schedules; they're on call. They're expected to be at work within an hour of getting a call… So they can't really do much of anything outside of work. No making plans that they aren't going to be able to cancel if they get called. No going out for a drink, because they might have to be at work and totally sober within an hour from any time.

Force the fat cats at the top to provide sick time to the workers – who they send out, alone, with no provision for taking breaks from driving the trains, which transport nuclear waste, military weapons, and everything the civilian side of America depends on, too.

If these workers weren't there, it would cost America $2B a day. If they're that important, give them the meager, reasonable accommodations they ask for. Treat them like people, not robots or slaves.

It would be a different story if the unions were asking for something ridiculous. But they are not. I don't understand how my congress, America's congress, doesn't just force the rail executives to give the union workers – who have made the CEOs disgracefully wealthy – a tiny slice of the obscene profits that they more than deserve; and which they worked for.

I mean, the rail executives can go on strike, and the trains would keep running like they always have.

If the few thousand rail workers strike, it stops immediately.

Why cater to the execs? They're already rich, they abuse their workers to the point that there have been a rash of train crashes in recent years… and they are 100% at fault for the current strike.
