So the United States has just released convicted international illegal arms dealer, Vicktor Bout, from prison and released him to the care of the Russians.
Please donāt worry about Vicktor. Heās a friend of Putin, so Vicktor should be just fine.
Just how bad is Viktor Bout? Well, Michael Braun, the former chief of operations for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration stated that āin my eyes, is one of the most dangerous men on the face of the Earth.ā (60 Minutes" in 2010.)
Yup, an actual āmerchant of deathā was given to the Russians.
Leftists are applauding this because, in exchange, the Russians released Brittney Griner.
Leftists donāt want you to own guns but are very happy with releasing an international, illegal arms dealerā¦
Griner was serving a sentence of 9 years for attempting to smuggle drugs into Russia. And yes, she actually tried to smuggle in the drugs.
It probably wonāt surprise you to know, youāre not actually allowed to do that!
No doubt, her lengthy imprisonment was a result of her American citizenship.
Russia exploits these opportunities to blackmail the US government.
They will continue to play this game if they keep winning. Guess what? They just won! And Griner was no innocent victim here.
Meanwhile, Marine veteran Paul Whelan, who was sentenced to 16 years in a Russian prison on espionage charges, continues to languish in jailā¦
Heās either a innocent victim or an actual US spy. In either case, he should have had priority. If innocent, heās been in jail longer and is an innocent man. If he was an intelligence asset, then the government has a duty to help him. He would have been working on behalf of national security.
The problem though, is that heās not a black lesbian! He simply doesnāt have the diversity points of Grinerā¦
Doesnāt matter that Griner couldnāt bother standing for the national anthem. Even though she disrespects the United States, sheās the victim we need to rescue.
A āreporterā for CNN claimed this was a victory for the LGBTQ+nonsense community. Ridiculous! Grinerās sexual identity or race, for that matter, had nothing to do with it. It was her illegal activity and her US citizenship.
How exactly does this serve American interests? It doesnāt. They get an international weapons trafficker, Americans get an anti-American attempted drug smugglerā¦ (Yes, Iām well aware, the drugs were for personal use. Itās still drug smuggling and itās illegal.)
