It is a very sad thing. I know all too well as my Mother has the same condition as Celine. Unfortunately, there is currently no known cure, so hopefully with Celine's team they can find something to manage it. As I write this, my mother is in the hospital receiving a treatment called plasma pherisis, which is intended to help lower the antibody count, which from my understanding is the main contributor to this condition. My mother has gone through multiple different treatments and they have not worked, so I hope the one she is going through now will help.
I've thought about reaching out to Celine and letting her know our story, since it is similar. My Mom is a widow as well since we lost my father in 2019. I can only hope things get better for Celine as well.
