  1. Fight! Fight! Fight!

  2. How all the statues had nooses around their necks when taken down….KARMA

  3. The body has been moved twice already. If it someone in my family I would not want his body at that busy intersection maybe now he CAN RIP

  4. Take all of those traitors statues down

  5. Social justice douchbags removing beautiful Southern history 😠😠

    Sad……and, a shame.

  6. We did it, now it all never happened 🙂

  7. Next they will change history of WWII! If it is not to the favor! Erase it. But guess what, it happened stop trying to change History!!!

  8. Take This Racist statue and grind it up and poured and concrete and use it as a sidewalk

  9. Put This Racist statue in a rock quarry

  10. Progressive liberalism is a very dangerous mental disorder 🤪

  11. Bowing to the weak, pathetic!!

  12. Melt it and turn it into something useful. Germany didn't try to whitewash its history by putting up statues for the Nazis after WW2.

  13. Time to grow up! Put them in a museum where history can be taught to generations about the consequences of hate and discrimination. They're nothing to be proud of.

  14. So we are erasing history? Ever notice that confederate heritage folks are interested in generals and soldiers but not their old slaveholder politicians that stirred them towards secession? I would imagine their politicans had plenty to say prior to secession and during secession.

  15. They shouldn't even think about taking it down to begin with an they shouldn't take it down anyway its apart of history an someone is barried there.

  16. Proud confederate Descendants over here!! Ours served in Mississippi and we ain't shamed of it!!!!

  17. This has nothing to do with being offended by a statue and everything to do with going on a power trip.

  18. If they refuse convert it into a public urinal and ash tray.

  19. This is ridiculous if they remove this statue they are literally defacing a grave stone.

  20. Absolutely tragic to see Monument Avenue and this statue ripped down. The most important collection of Beaux-Arts sculpture in America -rivaling Grand Central Station, gone. They were symbols of remembrance and reconciliation after the Civil War. They were works of art that represented the ingenuity and optimism of the industrial revolution. A site so important, it was listed by THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR on the National Register of Historic Places! We are living in the most anti-intellectual era in American History.

  21. This ripping down historic statues is getting old and overreaching. Just sickening.

  22. Grave robbers. This speaks volumes about the type of people we're dealing with. Remember when they said put them in cemeteries and museums? Liars and scum. And on top of that the abject stupidity of paving over to create more traffic and more speed when they need to be doing exactly the opposite.

  23. I don't like destroying history, but I also don't approve of memorializing Confederate generals who fought for slavery. A city like Richmond, the capital of the Confederacy, must have had many Confederate statues that needed to be taken down. Maybe the people who fought to keep them in place might compromise by helping to fund a museum that displays them. History would be preserved but the museum could also provide some historical context to help us understand what these figures did and why it was wrong.

  24. Great news to see these monuments to racist, traitorous losers being consigned to the trash heap

  25. I dont like the statue either, but it’s ridiculous to remove it just to make the “woke” clowns happy. Its still a part of history, albeit a bad one, but to remove this and change street names is beyond ridiculous

  26. The destruction of US history.Dumb and Dumber people in power.

  27. those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

  28. Only bigots, conservatives and white nationalists would want to preserve a monument of a traitorous confederate separatist

  29. As a descendant of Northern Soldiers, I implore all Confederate Traitors & Slavers names be stripped from everything & their names be spoken with only the utmost disgust. 😉

  30. I find it sort of odd that AP Hills descendents don't care about the REMAINS JUST THE STATUE

  31. I doubt the black community/ history museum wants his nasty remains. Let his people have them,to do what ever they wish.
They should melt the statute and sell it metal and send th proceeds to a HBCU in the state to help with supplies, might not be a lot of money, but it cover the cost of a book for a student or two.

  32. The statues are awkward, I’ll say that much.

  33. "I think it wiser, not to keep open the sores of war but to follow the examples of those nations who endeavored to obliterate the marks of civil strife, to commit to oblivion the feelings engendered." –Robert E. Lee wrote about a proposed Gettysburg memorial in 1869

  34. of course the in-bred Deliverance crowd will balk… duh duh drool

  35. I don’t get why anybody is against it. Even if you think statues to the confederacy are worth keeping (I don’t), why would you want to keep this one? It’s in the middle of a busy intersection/traffic circle and the guy is buried underneath it. I’m amazed a truck hasn’t knocked it down yet. Move the statue to a museum or to the cemetery where Hill’s remains are going to go and be done with it. Would you want cars and trucks rumbling around your grave all day?

  36. Forget history and it will be repeated

  37. Great, don’t take it to the BHM.
He’s receiving more consideration and respect than these individuals.⬇️⬇️⬇️

Move his remains and move on.

  38. Why have statues to LOSERS? Next Trump will want one…oh wait he dodged the draft

  39. You are destroying history.
