You are doing a good job for Montana. You will win again
This guy would make a good Presidential candidate – if he's healthy enough. Not sure about that. Earlier today I was watching some old videos of him (VICE) from several years ago. Trump threatened him with 'telling something I know about Tester and if I told you, he wouldn't be re-elected' which is typical Trump lying blackmail-ish threats. Tester has come a long way from those days of agreeing a lot with Trump and not realizing what he really was. The interview with him immediately after 1/6 was stunning – he called it like it was 'a coup attempt'. Might have been one of the few Senators who realized what had actually happened that day. Most of Congress and the media seem to still not be too sure…

Democrats should raise the debt ceiling now with or without Republicans because next house will hold it hostage and block Bidens agenda
Tester is trying to protect sinema but Republicans have removed the filibuster to get their agenda through so why can't Democrats do the same for Americans

Regarding the filibuster, I agree with Tester. Eliminating the filibuster would be a huge mistake that democrats would come to regret very soon, but I also don’t think that it should be senators’ responsibility to overcome the filibuster. It should be the filibustering senators responsibility to sustain the filibuster. That may not change the frequency of the filibuster but I think that fundamentally it’s just the right and rational thing to do.

Giving tax breaks to the rich doesn’t work. The rich tend to hold on to their money. Giving breaks to the people who are struggling invigorates the economy. Not to say we should have a never ending debt limit, but president Biden has a brilliant plan that will replenish the money that is spent.

Jon Tester is an outstanding Senator and citizen! He is a hardworking Senator with integrity and character, who represents his state well. In addition to his Senate duties, he goes home EVERY weekend to care for his farm and family business!
