Bringing Dads And Their Children Closer Through Ballet

Philadelphia Ballet trustee and father Lloyd Freeman is using a beloved holiday classic as a special way for dads and kids to bond over ballet. Freeman was determined to promote diversity and share one of his favorite shows, the Nutcracker, with other families, so he created the “Daddy and Me” program, offering discounted tickets to fathers and father figures so they could bring their children to enjoy the show’s magic.

  1. Dance are athletes. When are more people going to understand that?

In ballet the men have to be able to lift the women with grace and zero grimacing…like they weigh nothing.

  2. Dads wouldn't need to 'bond' with their kids if society wouldn't have double standards. 32% of US households feature a housewife and only 5% have a stay at home dad. We need more women in the workforce and more men to look after kids

  3. Jesus Christ called people everywhere to repent, so if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe with all your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved and inherit the kingdom of heaven and eternal life. To this, people would accept Jesus Christ in life in their hearts and told other people how good he is, how he saves, heals and frees and gives eternal life for free 2

  4. Its so weird. I just watched the Vermont Nutcracker irl.
