2 a pistol from the store was used
3 all involved worked there and all were blk so no hate crime
4 in the USA we average between 1 to 2 thousand murders a month so mass shooting account for a very small percentage of murder
What’s sad is the fact that, based on my time working there for a year, they would always give their Walmart employee online training regarding what to do during a shooting.
It will tell us to run, hide, or fight back. But even when I was trained and worked right by the entrance of the store, there was always still that fear of what would happen if a shooter started firing as soon as they come through the door. There was no way I would have reacted or fight back in time because the shooter would already be right there in front of me.
This thought would be even more terrifying at night because that’s when we will see majority of weird or crazy customers come in.
