At 1:28, Lester says the White House announced a $1.85 Billion Dollar aid package. While this is true, it's also misleading to your viewers. Some uninformed may believe this is the only new aid we are sending to Ukraine.
The US sent $13.6 Billion in March.
The US sent $40 Billion in May.
The US sent $13.7 Billion in September.
The spending bill Congress just proposed includes an additional $44 Billion.
So the stated $1.85 Billion figure is a bit disingenuous.
