It's winter folks
For those STILL attempting to fly. Crews and airplanes delayed everywhere if not cancelled. If your plane IS there we have the human element to throw into play.
Ground personnel in this extreme cold can only be outside a few minutes at best
People cater, they fuel , and load the bags and the cargo. De icing. And that is If these workers can even navigate the roads to get to their work to do their positions.
Then we have the hotel issue say your flight is cancelled or you misconnect. Hotels full with distressed travelers. ( and they aināt cheap), hotels may not have power. Van service to hotels may not be able to navigate roads, Workers may not be able to get to their jobs eitherš¤·š»āāļø. Possibly no restaurant for food as those employees couldnāt get to work .
Absolutely stupid to fly now. Be safe and sound my friends. Sometimes we just canāt fight the elements in this giant mess.
