Four electricity substations in the Tacoma, Wash., area were targeted in an attack on Christmas leaving thousands without power. NBC’s Dana Griffin reports as companies are restoring power to the area.

Hesitant to call it terrorism or treason? Play word games much? Russia has tried to hack our grid. This is the same thing, an attack on our society. Whoever is doing this is an enemy. If the privately held power companies ever do anything about this, the cost of electric will go up. What about people who are dependent on machines that concentrate oxygen… makes it murder or hopefully just attempted murder. I would investigate some of the homeless population. People with little to nothing to lose without power. I would also look at teenagers/younger adults. Both subgroups can come from a background of need with nothing to lose. And disruption would be their outlet if they felt abandoned by society.
