  1. I’m confused on why they shocked flights got canceled. 🤦‍♀️

  2. Im not sure if this works for everyone but maybe take amtrak as a second option? Just speaking for me since i have family up and down the east coast major cities not sure about traveling west

  3. If you’re gonna spend 24 or 48 hours waiting in an airport because of delayed or cancelled flights, I strongly suggest having Amtrak as a backup, especially out of large hubs like Chicago and NYC, there’s lots of routes that one can take

  4. Seriously you need a reason have you seen all the snow that's happening in those States ! Pilots are not going to fly through those weather conditions! And risk the life's of 200 passengers on a plane. With these extreme weather conditions.

  5. This happens every year. Some people take it beyond personal, but at the same time, they know the risk of traveling by this method on, not a holiday, but an inclement weather day. It's unfortunate that inclement weather happens on a holiday 75% of the time, but here is the flip side based on some of the complaints, but first, planes skidding of icy runways happens. They don't happen that often and can be a rare event only because of delays and cancelations such as what these people are experiencing in this video. With that said, if it would have happened, people would have been filing lawsuits and on the news pouring their hearts out with comments that make them look big such as "They knew the dangers so why they put our lives at risk." and further suggest, "If we knew ahead of time, we would have cancelled our flight, got a refund and found another mode of travel or just stayed home for Christmas. It's better to be alive and miss gatherings.". Would anyone agree this is how things go one way or another?

  6. My heart goes out to all those affected sending prayers to everyone to those stranded at the airport count your blessings it could be worse. Suppose you were on board a plane and it went down killing everyone say your prayers and tell God thank you and look at all the families who lost loved ones 🙏

  7. Merry Christmas Global warming !!!

  8. Over 99% of the people at the airport are not wearing masks. No wonder these viruses never go away.

  9. All these people heard “Coming Storm” and thought, nope won’t happen to me 😂

  10. What did people learn in the last 3 years? Nothing!!!!! #humanityfail

  11. There's no need to travel for Christmas and NY. Stay home, seeing your family ain't that important. NO MATTER WHAT.

  12. NBC speaking of chaos is there a news source you would recomend your viewers watch to stay updated on the chaos at the open border?

  13. They were warned but oh well can't feel sorry for them😜

  14. Next Christmas EVERYONE stay home and gather together for celebrations in Spring or Summer ???

  15. You did it to yourself.

  16. I don’t feel bad for these travelers because everyone knew it was safer to stay home this holiday. You never test god in times of disasters but they did it during the pandemic.

  17. We need another mandatory lock down. I said what I said. Idgaf about your feelings. Watch the uptick in covid deaths. You're not pro life if you're fine with passing around respitory illnesses 🤷🏽‍♀️

  18. They should've just stayed home. They can go travel when weather cooperates some other time. Getting stressed due to anxiousness is not worth the trouble.

  19. This is why I will never, ever, EVER, travel for the holidays. So not worth it.

  20. Remember, Bags fly free on Southwest

  21. Asians disappeared and the only Hispanic are those crossing the border.

  22. Southwest. What a dumpster fire!

  23. ?? Important segment about the power infrastructure just cuts off randomly

  24. This is why I don't fly. I got tired of the flight cancellations, the flight delays, and the loss of luggage. I'd rather rent a car and drive. That way, I can leave whenever I want and I don't have to worry about losing my luggage.

  25. The guy at 1:14 saying 'southwest abruptly canceled our flight without any reason'

😂😂😂 sir, look around you. Your flight was canceled for the exact same reason that literally 10s of thousands of other flights were canceled.

It blows me away that anyone is even remotely surprised by their flight being canceled right now.

  26. . what are the airlines telling people about the cancellation of 67% of the flights. Sorry but you’re screwed.😅

  27. Can't feel sorry for the sheep

  28. Why do people travel every year this always happens lol

  29. Airlines should not apologize for putting safety first.

  30. It’s a win for loners and introverts. Yaaaay

  31. Honestly, did people NOT know it would be this way during major weather events? Stupidity at its finest.

  32. All of this Madness should Absolutely Deter Anyone from flying again around the holidays…. and if You even see a Winter storm predicted, then do Not even think about flying

  33. I would never ever fly out a day or two before Christmas. Heck no. I would go a week out at the least.

  34. Why are you in the USA????

  35. Flying during the holidays almost always equals chaos. If you're unable to drive or fly prior to the holidays, its not worth it.🤷‍♀️
