Violent crime per square mile is a very important metric. Don't just look at skin color or per 100k residents. If you can hear or see a violent crime being committed every day, that effects your quality of life.
Its like the good kids who want to learn are bring sent to a state pen environment. This is a nationwide problem in basically any major city. Even the police are overwhelmed at times and just cant keep up with the level of crimes committed. Bad parenting has only gotten worse in the last few decades like a snowball going downhill, yet you will hardly find anyone who would say they are a bad parent. Feeding, housing and clothing a child isnt enough. Teach them values where they can fit into society.
