Even if he was withholding tax, this still makes him look good because he's not giving money to a government that just passed $1.7 trillion funding budget. No one in their right mind would give money to a business that spends it on mindless things, like so no one would give money to a government that's not in the best interests of the country, but we have to because we're forced to and don't really have an option to opt out of paying taxes. Trump did something that he believed in; he didn't believe that the government was in the best interest of the country but only for the people in office. Key thing is, if everyone in the country withheld their taxes, the power is now in the people's hands where it belongs, and it then becomes our responsibility to elect a leader who is morally good to lead the people. idk I think if everyone had the option to not pay taxes to the government or had options to where the money goes it would place power to the people and not those who are corrupt.
