Seems everything was fine until mother nature showed up, people also should know planes don't fly when 50 inches of snow is falling.
The only surprise is that computer meltdowns don’t occur more often. IT is always worse function in any company I have worked for! It all works on non-compatible software that’s connected by by ‘duct tape’ software.
This is what you all voted for in 2020 and in 2022. You deserve what your getting. Pewee Herman Buttigied enjoying vacation in Portugal and Goofy Joe Biden is vacationing in St Croix in sunny Caribbean. You got what you wanted and you got it hard. And you ain't seen nothing yet! Maybe if you could afford a private jet like Congress and Whitehouse Cabinet and Biden, you would not be stuck in hades.
Good for south West, don't fly if the conditions r dangerous .hell I never fly, cuz the planes r older than my yugo..
Idiocracy was a documentary after all…
It is so bad that people rebook with Spirit
And 2012
another Klaus the crazy German win for slow takeover
Everyone was warned this storm was coming!
If the Airlines would have flown out, and the Jets crashed, the death toll would have been off the charts..
You can never make Humans happy, even when you save their lives!
Morons!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I would NEVER plan on a trip home during Christmas, flying out any later than a week before. Flying in on the day of, or day before is just asking for trouble.
I remember this from last year and decided not to fly southwest for Christmas
They told everyone on the east coast 2 weeks ago not to travel and now they are complaining about their own stupid decisions.
So glad I took United yesterday
Southwest stranded us in Baltimore on Dec. 24th. We got lucky and were able to rent a car back to Florida. Drove 15 hours overnight on Christmas day.
Haven't got the message yet? They don't want the little people to travel freely beyond their workstation towns, all the better to nip any nationwide poilitical movements in the bud.
MILLONES DE DEMONIOS GENOCIDAS EN ESPAÑA VIVE LUCIFER FELIZ.
CENSORES SATANES ASESINOS GENOCIDAS.
so what? Next winter all of you are gonna book at the same time and with same airline all over again. Behave like idiots, get treated like idiots.
EN ESPAÑA LOS ASESINOS DE LAS VACUNAS TE BORRAN LAS DENUNCIAS.
ONE THING IS CERTAIN: Their CEO and senior executives will continue to get their multimillion dollar paychecks and stock buy backs and if fired theyll get their golden parachutes. Why? Cause F-you, thats why, yeah capitalism.
It's truly sad what has happened to Air travel and service over the last 20 years and remember Airline Unions were giving 10s of billions of dollars under covid not to layoff and pay employees instead they laid off and gave millions in early retirement and union benefits to 1000s of pilots and union employees and pocketed the rest. The government paid Airlines so this would not happen after Covid
Hire MEXICANS, Problem solved ‼️👀
Glad my family flew with JetBlue this time. They struggled with delays like everyone else, but they got the job done. One of the least cancellations of any airline this holiday.
FLEE GENOCIDES SANCHEZ.
Like I said keep blaming it quit blaming on one person it was the weather also and people's choices when they know the weather was going to be bad so what they expect the airline just to fly into bad weather on top of over schedule whatever happened really people that was your choice sometimes you just can't do things you used to do I've been trying to show you that for a while but you keep doing it
How can we blame the airlines, the weather was horrible! The worst in decades. I stayed home!
Why are people so disorganized u arrive a couple days in advance and leave a couple days after Christmas to let people get back into their routine at working at a airport
Stuck at San Antonio Airport due to delta
These US airlines get away with doing this sh*t. The EU has regulations, that flights w/ more than a 3 hr delay, means customers get refunded. No such protection exists here for US consumers and we NEED that here, Congress. I've noticed certain airlines like Southwest, Delta & United are quick to cancel flights when well before a storm system has truly arrived, which leads to thousands of people being stuck at a destination during major crises. In 2021, I was a victim of airlines shutting down in NOLA during Hurricane Ida. Almost half the airlines weren't flying out on Saturday (the day before the storm was set to reach land), & that Saturday was a really nice day. The weather permitted flights to be flown, but instead, the airlines prioritized getting their planes (not people) to States that would be unaffected by Ida. That left thousands like me stranded and many hotels were kicking guests out. So people were sleeping in the hotel lobbies or on the street benches, b/c they had no where to go. I heard power to the airport was restored around 3.5 to 4 days after Ida, but flights departing NOLA weren't scheduled until Saturday; that's SIX DAYS POST HURRICANE. My parents had to drive cross country to get me out. And the airlines got away with it. Do you know how scary it is to be stranded in a strange city where you know no one, all alone, without power, & with downed cell phone towers (so you cannot use your cell phone, a life line), or rely on EMS b/c they're overwhelmed themselves! I'm sick of these airlines doing this to us Americans. This is WRONG.
Sounds like Great Management skills..

Years ago, industries switched over to "Just in Time", saving money by reducing inventory. Seems like the airlines are operating on the "Just in Time" model — or, as it used to be called, flying by the seat of your pants. Do they even have a credible contingency plan? Their flights are among the shortest turnaround time in the industry. When you pull one domino out of the stack, they all start to fall down.
