In Idaho, the immigration of Californians is disgusting…..they pissed their bed in the Golden State and now, they're bringing their politics here. My neighbors are from San Jose and they still vote DemocRAT. Our congressional districts currently represent approx. 750,000 people. So if 250,000 people in a year . . . might be 2 or so fewer congressional districts for the next redistricting in 2030. This is congruent with the trends of the past 50 years for NY although it's only in the past redistricting that CA has begun to lose congressional representation (and electoral votes).
Is it Just me? the chart for california was at 39 million and Now its 29 million, So that'd be a 10 million difference just for California

Be careful how we receive this exodus. These Americans could be trying to spread their Blue vote to traditionally conservative states. California has 3,000,000 extra votes that go to waste there, but can sway small Red states if enough of them move.
Be very careful not to assume that these people will change the way they vote simply because they move.
