Rep. Scalise is a brazen liar. Time and again, THEY were the ones who rejected lowering costs for working families. Look it up. It's called the Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act. It would have given the President the authority to crack down on big oil companies who are intentionally restricting supply to keep prices high and rake in more profit for their buddies on Wall Street. In the House, every single Republican voted against it. I wonder why? 🤔 Additionally, the bipartisan Access to Baby Formula Act of 2022 passed both chambers and became law back in May. What have Republicans done since to fight inflation? They have no plan — or, rather, their "plan" is simply to deregulate all industries and allow corporations to continue making record profits at the expense of consumers. I'm sure that'll work. 🙄

Biden did not shut down US oil production. He stopped a Canadian pipeline that would only provide 250 jobs. The pipeline was for export of oil. There are hundreds of oil leases that have not been tapped. Biden could get more oil refineries going, that would help. Trump didn’t open up any new refineries.
Remember the time when all the GOP senators voted against Biden Infrastructure bill. Most of them went back to their state and lie to their constituents about how they got millions from Biden Infrastructure bill to help fix their state road and bridges. The GOP is full of it.
