No disrespect intended, but how did she land a broadcasting job having a pronounced lisp?
Barbara was driven, very experienced, but I never appreciated her type of journalism – asking personal and at times very inappropriate and offensive questions for her own gain. Journalists should ask hard questions. She asked hard questions. However, there’s hard questions, and then there’s inappropriate questions. I was shocked by some of the things she asked her interviewees, and usually it was another woman. She is most definitely a trailblazer for women, but I personally, I didn’t think she was a very good person.
