  1. Handle it this way, Now that the third umpire checks no ball, check this too. From here there can be 2 ways
    1. Any runs scored off that ball even if it is a six, is counted as 0. Batsmen will stay in the crease from the next match.
    2. Childish suggestion, the batsman moves away from the stumps and the bowler gets a bowl out at the stumps (inverse free hit).

  2. Dismissal is the easiest way to curb the habit of NS backing up before release of the ball. It shows how much the balance of power has shifted in favor of batters in the modern game that there is a debate about integrity and skill of the bowler instead of debating the lack of common sense and brain of the non striker and their lack of integrity to steal yards. This is what I would want to happen
    1. NS is dismissed, delivery is counted as a dot ball;
    2. If bowler/ team doesn't want to run out NS and ball is delivered, next delivery should be an automatic dot ball regardless. 3rd umpire can easily keep track of it. Imagine a T20 game where your team only ends up effectively facing 60 deliveries coz your batters where stupid enough to keep leaving the NS crease before delivery?

  3. Rohit shouldn't have withdrawn the appeal, it should be called "Run – Out" simple. And yes Captain shouldn't withdrawal appeal any time, Rightly said by Raunak, in this age of TV umpiring it Isn't needed, And when TV umpire is checking for No – ball every time, then Umpire can easily warn for first time and start penalty on batting team and if there is run – out in accordance with the law its should be given out.

  4. What Rohit did is disappointing
