Fire every school administrators involved with delayed release. Asian Americans disproportionately affected. Law suits on the way. Needs to be investigated ASAP . Get to the bottom of this crap. You EARN merit. You get the recognition. You want it….. earn it
The left wing progressive socialist woke ass community has every attempt to dumb down our students in order to have a more 'sheep' electorate to rule over. Smart people are not in the best interest to the DEM party. The other problem, perhaps the main problem, is the most of our teachers are too dumb and lazy(yes, I said it) to teach excellence to our children. Remember, years gone by that there was a protest of why teachers should have to take test to certify for teaching credentials—- a lot of new 'teachers' were failing the test.
This is the case for their so called 'equity' agenda. The problem is, instead of trying to raise and uplift students to the level they need to be, they try to restrict and confine the over achievers so that all can be 'equal' a level of mediocrity. Go woke and America will go broke.

I taught at one of these schools for 7 years. Quit over the summer after noticing repeated problematic behavior and subsequently being silenced and intimidated when trying to address it. Few realize how troubling these public schools truly are.

The only way to remedy and stop this is a massive class action lawsuit. Gotta hit them in the pocket book. It’s the only thing that will stop these snowflake fluff masters.

How about we set the salaries of the Superintendent Principle and other administrators equal to janitors so that the janitors are not offended that they earn less? These students WORKED and EARNED their awards and now they are being discriminated against because they have been successful. I hope that the Governor's investigation includes action against those who made these decisions.

My first lesson in communism was from my 5th grade Spanish teacher at Crestwood middle school Royal Palm Beach FL in the late 80s when I was asked to try out for the swim team by her. I was a gifted swimmer raised in pools and ocean. Most of my peers were not so accomplished and i aced the laps in the pool. I was told I didn't make the team because they wanted to give the other kids a chance and I splashed to much.
Seems to me that they ought to be able to tell us relatively quickly whether no students were notified of their award, or if specific races, genders, etc were intentionally not notified, or if this was purely incompetence by multiple, independent school districts, the last seems far fetched to me.
The fact that Fairfax hired a consultant specifically to help guarantee equity and equality outcomes isn't a good look though. The longer they take to tell us what really happened is going to lead to more people assuming the worst motives by woke bureaucrats.
