Why would they be held accountable? That would require them to have some sense of fear from the people they represent. And what’s to fear? Those same people would burn And loot their own communities before taking their problems to the government. And the one time they did(Jan 6th), they convinced half the population that attacking the government is actually worse destroying our communities.
