It is a fallacy to believe that the police can and will protect us. At best police are there in minutes when seconds count. They too often arrive just in time to clean up the mess and make a report. I feel sorry for you if you live in a Democrat ruled city. If the criminals don’t get you the Democrat prosecutors will when you are forced to defend your life.
It's lamentable.
I have been to 3 cities in Texas for the past several years and the most dangerous thing I have encountered or heard was being asked for a dollar from a homeless person. I am not saying there are not any thefts but this is blowing everything out of proportion. I guess you are supposed to stay locked away in your home and fear everything though. I am firmly in adulthood and have not experienced any major crime or thefts for over 3 decades. I have lived all over Texas and the East Coast. I have seen violence from drunks. This lady is willing to run a business serving in alcohol but is scared she is going to be robbed all the time. If it happens it happens don't live your life in fear
Parents, teach your kids to stay out of trouble, get decent jobs and enjoy a peaceful and prosperous life. Rather than prey on society. You are the company you keep.
