  1. Peter Lyoya ( Dad of Patrick) and the Grand Rapids NAACP
( August 2022) have asked the US Department of Justice to File Federal Civil Rights Charges against Christopher Schurr ( he could get 20 years in a Federal Correctional Facility).

Christopher Schurr was a rogue cop ( same as the 6 cops in Memphis, Tennessee) . He should do a minimum of 20 years behind bars! He killed an unarmed man on a video ( seen by Millions).

  2. "murdering a black man"…. Had to put that in there huh. If the cop wasn't white, they wouldn't include race

  3. They keep killing us ,say his name, he didnโ€™t do noffin

  4. Defund all of the cops!!!!!

  5. Another peacekeeper sacrificed at the altar of crime culture. I guess we'll never know how many lives the officer saved by removing that degenerate from our streets. His record suggests it was only a matter of time before he ended someone, either by running them over while on drugs or bashing one of his baby mama's heads in.

  6. Why is it important to say for killing a black man? Stop labeling people and you just might end racism

  7. Thought he was getting away with it

  8. This was a traffic stop that escalated to the loss of a life. Regardless of what the outcome of this traffic stop would've/could've been this man did not have to die. The plates not matching the vehicle is why this stop occurred. The driver was uncomfortable and seemed like a flight risk from the beginning. Whether if this car was stolen or if the plates was stolen neither of the two gave this officer the right to take his life. Many will argue that the officer followed the proper protocol as the defense attorney stated in this video and that he didn't break the law by deciding to discharge his firearm in attempts to apprehend a fleeing suspect. This man was obviously in the process of fleeing this traffic stop and clearly prevented this officer from deploying his tazer yet he was unarmed. Does the punishment for a stolen plate or even a stolen vehicle equate to the loss of a life? Even with probable cause being established shooting a man in the back of the head for a victimless crime (no one was in ANY danger until this officer initiated contact without back up and decided a physical altercation was necessary) IS against the law. There are a number of ways this situation could've been handled other than the way it was and in all of them this young man could still be alive. These officers have been trained to ticket or incarcerate as many people as possible (quotas) and if they don't meet these quotas they are looked at as ineffective. This along with overzealous law enforcement officer has led to overpopulated detention facilities and a bunch people in them that need not be. How can an intelligent adult justify the death of an American citizen in a case where this man had harmed no one? This defense attorney states that officers shouldn't ONLY be allowed to discharge their weapons when their lives are in jeopardy, with this I disagree. Is a "notch" on the quota count worth the life of an American citizen or even someone here on a visa for that matter? How can it be continuously ignored that people's lives are being inturrupted/destroyed by this type of policing? Even if this man fled the scene and it led to a being apprehended at another time the vehicle would've remained in police custody. The worst possible scenario that should be in discussion concerning this case should've been a citation for driving without a valid license and possession of a stolen tag. If this case would've rendered more than this it would be broadcasted all over the news. If a firearm would've been found or if drugs had been found it would've used in attempts to justify this man's death and this officers lack of sound judgement. What does this say about the rules of engagement during traffic stops when unarmed citizens ( predominantly black and brown in color) continuously lose their lives during them? The fact this has been accepted as normal DOES NOT mean it should be. The situations where an officer is allowed to use deadly force HAVE to be re-evaluated ALL over this country because the communities that continue to suffer the loss of life at the hands of those who have sworn to protect it are beyond fed up. Not to mention the "justice" system's reluctance to prosecute said officers when they've clearly committed a crime such as this. Regardless of this officers thought process or true motives on the day in question a life was lost unnecessarily. Lives are lost constantly at the hands of individuals who don't wear a badge and when those who committed these crimes are apprehended they are prosecuted without prejudice, the same consequences MUST be alotted to those in law enforcement ESPECIALLY when the number of lives taken by them is at an all time high. Some will pity this officer if he is sentenced with the death of this gentleman but their is a big difference in citation, arrests, and shooting a man in the back of the head. This officer had the choice to NOT take a life, whether he considered it to be innocent or not was not his choice to make. Now the family of this young man deserve the same justice that ANY family deserves when a loved one is taken from them before their time unnecessarily. It is true that being a officer of the law presents dangerous situations day and day out but officers must be mindful of when they use deadly force and know that if it is not warranted they WILL be held accountable. Are officers aware that there are places to shoot people that don't necessarily mean there death?๐Ÿค”

  9. The dirty pig shot him point blank in the head while the guy was on the ground its murder .

  10. The dude jacked the cops taser and got shot WHICH is not only justified but the next logical conclusion in an encounter. Yet another reason why I am no longer doing law enforcement. Dude went hands-on with the officer, was bigger, and took his taser. No wonder cops are quitting. whose going to do it, you the Monday morning QB? whatever. ill defended me and my own while yall let the world burn.

  11. I hope he get convicted, and get life.

  12. Letโ€™s see if justice can prevail in this tragedy!

  13. THIS murderer should've already been in custody in Guantanamo bay as an enemy combatant ๐Ÿค”

  14. "It can't be the only time a police officer gets to use his weapon is when he's being attacked" WTF??? THAT SHOULD BE THE STANDARD LAW TO USE DEADLY FORCE IS IF A COP IS BEING ATTACKED NOT FOR A LOUSY TRAFFIC STOP!!!!

  15. The cop doesnโ€™t look human. Heโ€™s sitting there looking like a robot.

  16. Surprising turn of events

  17. So he is automatically guilty because the cop is white and the perp was black . Seems that an angle that is trending these days

  18. Guilty of murder. Pigs need to leave black PPL. The F alone.

  19. The black was fighting and resisting learn some respect for authority and why is there no outrage when they are killing each other because of gang bs

  20. That cop looks like coke head.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
