The demise of Social Security and Medicare by this Congressional Republican House would go a long way to cripple the USA internally which is right on the mark of the insurrectionist that tried to overthrow the USA. Hey, how about increasing the social security tax limit to include the 1% which would include all of them instead of raising the retirement age to 80 which will make sure almost no one ever collects a Social Security check. The only politician I have any faith in whatsoever is Rand Paul. I think it's a tragedy that the uniparty system would go into overdrive to make sure he would never get elected.
I response to the person that will feel the urge to point out that "Rand Paul this, that or the other, so he is no better", all I can say is I never claimed he was Jesus Christ. He's made his mistakes, I don't always agree with him, he will suffer the same challenges as anybody else who gets to taste power. However, among all the politicians we have today, for me he stands out as somebody who principled and has ideas I mostly agree with. (Bernie Sanders also seems fairly principled to me, but I disagree with most of his ideas).
That being said, it is only once somebody is actually in power when we can see what they will do with it.
Cut money sent to other countries until our own country is out of trouble.
