Two earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria and have left the region with a skyrocketing death toll as 10,000 search and rescue personnel are deployed and promises of aid from the international community. I've seen that help is going in from many countries but some mega-rich Arab countries are noticeable by their absence from that list; Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE, Kuwait, etc. Why are they not contributing? Turkey is in their part of the world after all.

That was a massive earthquake! We had one like this in 1979 and it killed 300 people in Montenegro and 100 in Albania. My very deepest condolences to Turkey and Syria!
