ChatGPT is a tool, just like a calculator, a computer, the internet, etc future technology, if you don’t teach people how to use it, then, those people will fall further behind, while those that embrace it will get further ahead, it's not like you write one sentence and its building a new world (yet, at least), it’s a tool that makes the user even more productive, with similar tech coming from Microsoft, Google, and others, it’s not going away, so, learn how to use it

In its current form, it's easy to tell when the program is writing something, especially if you don't work with prompts and use your own lingo. It's an interesting tool, but when you look past the hype, it has some serious limitations – ChatGPT
Though the above is my sentiment, and almost word for word,
it took the correct prompt to get it not to sound like someone else entirely.
(Or even change the meaning altogether)
If you’re working with students it will be easy to tell what’s theirs and what isn’t.
The benefits of ChatGPT are as a sounding board, as well as helping people express their thoughts more coherently.

You do use a calculator, but you wouldn't rely on answers from a calculator that occasionally got things wrong.
AI DOESN'T HAVE LIFE EXPERIENCES or EMOTIONS
AI is for idiots.
It's good, but it gets things wrong. Have your students find something that ChatGPT gets wrong. That would be challenging for some of them.
