Republicans aren't necessarily attacking liberal propaganda. Perhaps they are just more realistic that an overpriced college degree is not as worth it anymore. Perhaps they are finding more efficient and effective alternatives like trade schools or certifications from large employers. C'mon Chuck, you're smart enough to think of these things. I would be willing to bet that if you took two identical twins sent one to public school and the other one stayed home and did the Khan academy courses that at the end of four years the Khan academy student would be at least one full grade ahead of the public school student

European history is taught starting in the 2nd to 3rd.grades.starting with George washington as our 1st President.it is intrenched in our social studies curriculim. The only thing mentioned about African Americans is the triangular shipment of their ancestors into the Americas and the carribean islands.Theres a paragraph in our social studies texts at the most.plus a few paragraphs about Mlk. This actually omitts Black History.the contributions and achievemants blacks have made in their whole 400 yrs.of being in America.American History is Whitewashing American History period by those who want to hide Americas Truths.the good.bad.and ugly will come to light.

This is disturbing.Not getting College degrees works well in a non global economy. In a global economy, it does US kids a disservice by discouraging them from getting degrees that will enable them to compete on a global level. A college degree is just not to get a job. It's about thinking outside the box and exposure to different cultural ideas. This is what makes a well rounded independent thinking individual. This next generation needs to be more original, creative, and innovative thinking than ever. And they won't get that from watered down education curriculums that don't challenge or excite them .

Why can’t the truth just be told about what really happened? I was really angry to learn the truth about things in college and later on in life and wondered why I wasn’t taught certain things in school. If you can teach one part why can’t it all be taught? Oh it hurts peoples feelings, don’t it hurt people eventually if the truth is withheld from them?
