Anger is mounting in East Palestine, Ohio in the aftermath of the train derailment followed by controlled burn of hazardous chemicals. Despite assurances that it’s safe for thousands of evacuees to return home, residents are still concerned. NBC News’ Ron Allen spoke with the head of the EPA about the incident.

I hate to say this but the EPA has a PR Division. When they send an African American person they (the EPA) are not to he trusted. He is the low man on the totem pole. Unlike his white colleagues he cannot refuse to go and still keep his job. He is being used and you are being lied to. He is the sacrificial lamb.
In the end, you can always blame greed and incompetence for these accidents. Mostly greed, though. I wish human life was more important than money, but sadly, to a lot of people, it isn't.

The saddest truth about this eco disaster and every other form of pollution is that only one of God's species is responsible for all of it.
Every other creature on this planet and in the oceans are innocent victims of every part of pollution that man creates. From oil spills into the once pristine waters to the satellites that will eventually fall out of the sky, every bit of environmental pollution, including bulldozing their natural habitat and pushing them out of their own land for our needs is all done by one species.
This planet will only be fit for the rest of God's creatures – the ones who don't put plastics in the oceans – when humans cease to exist.

My advice to the folks who live anywhere nearby to move and don't look back. Looks like another Flint Michigan in the making in Ohio. I wouldn't believe officials I'd place my trust in not governmental agencies, doctors and scientists on when and if it will ever be safe to live there again.
