It's not about ipl exposure. Indian men have played 15 season of ipl how many times t 20 world cups they won. It's about hunger to win which makes you excel. Yes talent will come but that doesn't mean good performance

Women's IPL will bring only thing to the players which is `The Money` nothing else.
It's not financially viable for business. Hardly anybody cares about local women cricket. Indians are mainly a Cricket Fanatic Country but that too only men. In Jaipur, a mini women IPL sort of a tournament was organised. Trailblazers, Velocity etc were name of teams & all top women players were playing but nobody came to see the match. Stadiums were completely empty. No buzz, nothing.
Bcci is a multi billion dollar board & can organise such tournaments even though it's a guaranteed loss. I don't expect women IPL but I do want to see a 6 women team tournament that gets over in a fortnight every year.
It's shameful that Cricket Australia is endorsing a women's IPL and yet, we don't have one. They didn't even do the T20 challenge this year!! It's only sending the message that BCCI is not as interested in women's cricket, even though the women's team is doing leaps and bounds better than the men's team.
WIPL should start soon atleast next year or 2023

There is more to having a woman's IPL than just equal rights. The IPL is a business and therefor has to be financially viable. The support for womens sport in India ( even cricket) is not enough to carry a tournament, this is a cultural thing which is very deep rooted . The woman's IPL will not intice sponsors the same way men's IPL does as they will be played in empty stadiums. FACT! The BCCI have flirted with the thought of having a woman's IPL run simultaneously in order to get bums on seats but the work load is just not feasible running two tournaments in this fashion. This is not about improving the woman's game, there is no doubt it will improve our overall standard and we have some of the most talented women cricketers in the world. You have to have perspective here, having ICC tournaments and an IPL are two different things and when there are franchises involved the business aspect comes first. BCCI will not run a tournament on a loss irrespective of what the positive impact it may have on our women's national team. This is the sad truth.
to start good things in India, it is pretty hard………What is the problem to start W-IPL ? Why is BCCI not Starting W-IPL ? BCCI is almost 7 years lagging behind Cricket Australia.
