Spoke with the warden of a local prison down here in Florida 6 weeks ago. I told him I was deeply disappointed in what cops have become. A 40 year veteran of law enforcement he told me he couldn't argue with my critique about how modern cops are nothing more than pathetic thugs being a former military cop myself.
He revealed to me that he had that he had 21 positions open that he couldn't fill. That the standards for hiring cops have become so low and poor he was forced to hire what he described as thugs and criminals himself. He said he was working with cops that were nothing more than criminals themselves because the standards have become so low.
