Wait, let's suspend, just for a moment, the talk about your politics, race issues, fatherless homes & money talk. Did I hear this right? 8 previous felonies among other charges. This was probably a case like the laws on the books in Chicago and other places whereby the police simply cannot hold a person under 18 in jail for the most part. So, these children have long rap sheet and then they just grow older & their crimes get more serious all the way to deadly. It's a shame. So many children/young adults that I see in public places of all races are just hangin' out, aimless, being disruptive, looking for trouble. They are officially calling this last cohort of young adults, The Hopeless Generation. This is the only world the hopeless generation (Generation Z), born 1995-2005, have ever known. It isn't too surprising they feel hopeless. Jails are a very poor substitute for good parenting. Men & women need to parent better, live around your grandparents, learn to take parental advice without being defensive, especially with your misbehaving children in school. It's hard because this is a fallen & broken world. Media shows the doom to these kids on the daily. This so-called "Social Media" is not that at all! It's ANTI-social media! OK, I'm turning this mess off and not commenting for a while. The algorithms keep showing the craziest stuff to you once you click on something like this story. I can put it in perspective, but our children cannot as they are not mature enough to deal with all this horror; shown on them hourly & daily. Praying, and searching out ways that I can help make a difference in a child's life. Let kindness to other go viral, it may just save our lives.
