Too much opinion journalism, no reader ever asked for a journalist’s opinion… other than advice columnists.. but that’s their whole racket. I’m not saying they can’t say how they feel, but it shouldn’t be the entire article, ever. Report just facts and let me decide.. I’ll take your opinion into consideration… but it really isn’t relevant. The other problem with opinion pieces, is that readers are too dumb to distinguish it from fact.

I can remember when journalism in college focused on telling the facts, truth, accuracy, without bias. There is no such thing today. Today is about entertainment, political preferences, and journalists expressing emotion based opinions: expressing their feelings and sacrificing the truth to satisfy media owners and their own ego's favor.
