Wade which was the right to an elective abortion, an abortion without medical necessity. The difference between elective abortions performed by standalone abortion clinics and medical emergencies treated by medical doctors and hospitals.
In Roe v Wade, plaintiff Jane Roe had been unable to obtain an abortion due to her inability to meet the medical emergency requirements that Texas had.
Who would have thought that murdering millions of innocent lives is a big deal.

Thanks to austerity measures, women’s maternal mortality rates have actually increased from 16-30%, along racial lines worse outcomes are baked in.
So forced birth, forced dependency, and women, you’re far more likely to die of complications than any time in 50 friggin years.
The "pro-life", anti-abortion movement was the one thing above all else that propelled the republican party into power over the last 50 years by mobilizing the religious right and realigned them with the republican party. Now that they finally got what they wanted, they can't celebrate it or brag about it to the public at large And it could end up neutralizing it as a political force and take away the one base of support that has kept republicans in power. I saw an interesting question by a Federal Judge regarding the Ultra-Conservative Supreme Court and them throwing out Roe v Wade. SHE said that they didn't consider the complete Constitution. The latest that Red States are slamming through that Human Life begins at fertilization? If banning a woman the right to an abortion ISN'T involuntary servitude, that's a violation of the 13th Amendment, what is it?

Fact check: it is NOT nor has it EVER BEEN the "Democratic position" to allow abortion on demand up to the moment of birth. Nobody is suggesting that full-term babies be slaughtered on the woman's whim, AND THAT IS NOT WHAT WAS HAPPENING prior to Dobbs. Roe had restrictions. We have to recognize that the only abortions that were being done in the timeframe that makes people uncomfortable
-be it 15 or 18 or 20 weeks-are tragedies. They are wanted children that are diagnosed with unsurvivable genetic defects, for example. How cruel is it to remove medical care in those circumstances? This is why the default Democratic position is simply to allow these medical decisions to be made by patients and doctors, and to get the politicians out of the mix. Characterizing that as abortion on demand with no limits, contributing to the misinformation about what democrats want, is careless. You should know better.Honestly, I'm glad the majority of Americans don't want to be put under control if someone puts a bun in the oven, whether it was consental or not.
But the same people who are pro-life republicans, are the same people who don't want to give children free lunch at schools, or they don't want to help support children or mothers in need. Because they say, "It's not their responsibility." It's not my responsibility to keep something you careless about after it comes out.
If men had to deal with pregnancy there is NO WAY we would let the government dictate this decision. AND there would be a clinic on every corner.
