Jack Sullivan baloony. Stop patting yourself on the shoulder with "unprecedented" and "massive" deliveries of most important supplies for Ukraine's taking back land. Sullivan is FAILING to name long-range precision missiles that all experts agree are crucial to disrupt logistics and therefore to enable Ukraine's offensive.
Sullivan studiously has been avoiding this crucial aspect.
what do you do, take away Ukraines 20 best pilots and put them on a US base for a year? Ukraine has basically held the air just with anti aircraft weapons. Russia barely flies inside ukraine. I really dont think removing their best pilots now makes sense when this war will be decided in a few months.
Diplomatic speak, still too timid and fearful of some kind of escalation. The west is not moving as fast as they should, they are holding back critical weapons and capabilities. All this will come out in the post mortem. Perhaps sooner with a right minded whistle blower or blowers.
China is laughing at this tentative approach by the west.

I don't think Sullivan gets it. When Crimea is back with Ukraine negotiations will start with: does Russia want a Black Sea fleet, does its commercial sector need access to the Black Sea, does Russia want Ukraine actively supporting armed rebels heading for Georgia, Chechnya and Belarus along with reparation vs sanctions issues.
I am not opposed to continuing to bleed Russia of its military (troops and materiel) (which I imagine a security adviser would want), but there is a time limit on it. Mr Burns says August though I think it could go months beyond that but I do agree Ukraine needs to get a move on and not simply defer any offensive a year until it gets F16's.
What really surprised me is how tolerant Russia is with US ?
If I was Putin I would have already put all my nukes on hair trigger alert.
If US wants to send weapons to Ukraine then they are already a party to the war. So Russia may as well start nuking the US cities.
Just send all nukes in the inventory … all at once !
