Overturning Roe assured a Democrat Whitehouse and congress in 2024.
Americans always say they don't have royalty and yet they have a cabal of judges appointed for life who make sweeping changes to the lives of ordinary citizens based on their own religious beliefs and opinions, with no oversight or accountability. Not even King Charles has that kind of power! America should be more democratic, like Europe.

The only "abortion problem" is abortion itself. To say that "no one" wanted to touch Roe v Wade for so many years is ridiculous. Roe v Wade was divisive when it was decided and continued to be the most hotly contested decision in history. The Dobbs decision was a good one — there is no protection for abortion in the Constitution of the United States, so send it back to the states to decide.
Abortion is every woman's choice across the majority of the world.

The US constitution has been amended 27 times and is the reason they are called amendments.
Republican women know their place. They are to do what their Republican husbands and law makere tell them to do.
Republicans live on a political razors edge. Always have. Without evangelicals, they’re dead in the water with independents and the few moderate conservatives left. So they’ll hammer away at abortion even in the face of political irrelevancy. Fiscal conservatism is dead. Without ideological outrage against abortion, LGBT rights, and CRT what’s left? The anti wile war cry falls flat for me. We need old republicans like Bush Sr., Bob Dole, and John McCain.

Most Americans agree it should be legal in the first trimester. It rapidly loses support when you get into the 2nd and more so in the 3rd trimester. It's not as simple as the media always make it sound with a basic black and white yes/no it should be legal. They never discuss the shades of gray, which is where the real argument lies.

When you decide that you should tell another human being what to do with their own body, you then deserve to lose power. The republicans have loss all integrity for “small government and individual rights” or “freedom” when they are using government to strip those rights away from other Americans. As a millennial and former young Republican they may never have my vote or support again and I am confident I’m not alone in my generation.
