He's so humble and well spoken. I love him. But just one thing Hindi is not national language of India. There is no national language for our country since our constitution was written. There are only official languages. It is the most spoken language in the country that's it.

In my opinion Indians need to come out of the mindset that "Oscars" is a validation of good film we were and are always better than them and they have been biased towards us due to their insecurity. So don't get overwhelmed if we get neither get disappointed if we won't make it as it doesn't matter at all

Great interview. Bravo to the RRR movie team. Great job. Some corrections. There is no national language in India. Hence Hindi is incorrect. Satyajit Ray is the only Indian to receive the lifetime achievement award from Academy in 1992 and later A.R Rahman and R. Pookutty for Slumdog millionaire. Mother India, Salam Bombay and Lagan got Oscar nominations. Indian movies should get more recognition. Hope RRR will open the door further for future recognitions from Academy.
