Russian speaking Ukrainians are Ukrainians. Russian language was forced on everyone back in Russian empire that was Soviet Union. Up to 2014 Ukrainians in Crimea were living and growing democracy in their own country. Only a marginal few would think of giving up their independence back to Russian empire. In 2014 only pro-Russia voices were allowed, anything else was violently shut down. Up to 2014 Russia had huge influence culturally over Ukrainians, but in 2014 Russians blew that up, along with word peace order. Russia did recognize Ukrainian borders, signed and ratified all treaties ensuring Ukraine integrity. Yet in 2014 they showed no respect for peace order. Since 2014 Russia has shown that having Crimea is not their goal, they will chop territories off of neighbor countries like it is 19th century again.

I was in Crimea and I talked to several people and they told me that they were Russians and they were being persecuted. The same with donbass, they want to secede from Ukraine

If you try to find something about Crimea on youtube by just typing this word in a search bar, you would be surprised that less then 10 videos had been posted since 2014 (!!!). That shows the real interest of the Western media to Crimea. So I can say, that compared to others the NBC did a great job. But 2 minutes to understand the life of 2 millions people for 9 years are not enough. And Kier haven't asked one easy question….Why are you a Russian patriot now, how did it happen so? But, I believe, as a Western journalist he did as much as he could.

We have disasters in Ohio. It doesn’t matter if it’s a blue state or a red state all we do is give our old ammunition and tanks to Ukraine so basically we can test out our Battlefield equipment but enough is enough. We have bridges falling apart in this country, natural disasters chemicals built into the ground over 20,000,000 pounds. When will they invest a couple billion into the Ohio Pittsburgh area. These roads and bridges are falling apart, we have to stop giving money to other countries. NATO can pick up the bill our money. Printer Hass to be running out of ink by now.

I think Keir Simmons is right. Russia should be given what ever it points at. Thats a good world to live in. Also we can safely ignore the thousands of russians that have been moved to Crimea and the laws prohibiting people from speaking their mind.
