The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians fought for years for the return of their ancestors from UC Berkeley. They recently learned some of the remains are still missing.

This is WRONG & unconstitutional… return the people !!! Tribe sue. Berkeley for billions of dollars and use that money for the Tribal Nation and a proper burial location for the ancestors
Reparations! This is criminal sh-t. Nobody else gets to do creepy sh-t. I thought people in Cali were more woke. Boycott until they go out of business. Give back the land if the ancestors were buried there.

They lost. It was a skill issue that ended up with their defeat. They should've adapted but it was a skill issue that led them to their ultimate defeat.
What a beautiful story of modern day love of culture and tradition with a wonderful study of ancestors. I think the school holding the natives in such high regard by studying them for such a long time is beautiful and the native people still appreciated the culture of the past is wonderful. Both sides have a tough battle, both can be seen as important and wonderfully amazing.
