Californians stranded in snow after relentless winter storms



Parts of Southern California remain under a state of emergency tonight, with many residents still trapped by mountains of snow. NBC Newsโ€™ Miguel Almaguer has the latest weather updates.

  1. I guess they found out no leadership in positions of power that actually help their citizens and offer tons of excuses but as long as they are diversified in races that's all that matters, not actually merit to helping citizens. It's really being shown how JUST being a minority doesn't get the job done. American citizens are on their own and have to learn to take care of themselves instead of waiting for someone to do the right thing.

  4. This is STAGGERING what is occurring there.

  5. In all the news coverage, I have yet to see a single snow cat. I'm not saying they aren't out there, but it is surprising to watch hours of coverage and see all sorts of vehicles, but not a single snow cat. Snow cats should be bringing in food and water to homes that are days from getting plowed. They should be out in front of the plows. They could also be bringing elderly and disabled folks out. Run food and water in, bring folks out.

    2 MLRS Grad combat vehicles;

    During the day, 15 rockets of the HAMMERS and Uragan multiple launch rocket system were intercepted and nine unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.
    during the day, 86 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in firing positions, manpower and equipment in 117 districts.

  11. California may not be the place for snow but have these people ever thought about the states who have Relentless snow for at least four months out of a year and we're Louisiana and Florida get an undetermined amount of hurricanes these are the people who struggle to survive

  17. I recall hiking on the Pacific Crest trail, May/early June, behind Wrightwood on the climb to Baden-Powell. Trapped in snow for three days, overlooking Los Angeles, in June…. don't underestimate weather…
