  1. There is a theory by 2030 that smartphones might go extinct because something better will come out by then when the world may not need them anymore?

  2. Im there in the video😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

  3. …and you just realized it??? Wow!

  4. It’s also turned grown women into attention seeking clowns

  5. Let them,if were honest no one of under 20 is gonna have a future.
Besides we are too much on this planet

  6. Robert Reich, the man to watch.

  7. Soo what yall let the kids get on them and do what ever now look at us 😢

  8. Wait too see their mom onlyfan

  9. "There are two reasons to delete your social media accounts. One of them is for your own good, and the other is for society's good." – Jaron Lanier

  10. Can’t spend this finite time I have living on my phone

  11. Internet was supposed to be a Greek utopia yet look what humanity made of it LOL

  12. All social media should be banned for anyone under the age of 19.

  13. The government is trying to control kids I don't trust them to teach my child!

  14. NBC is a major part of this problem. Keep it up. Or just provide coverage.

  15. Homeschool… no SM.. and PARENT your children… they need a leader in the home, not another Parent that wants to be their friend. And everyone wonders why everything is out of control.

  16. I’m 24 years old. For most of my teen years I hated watching people be on their phones so much. It was super cringy for me. But in my 20’s I slowly became that person and didn’t notice it. As of January 2023 I’ve been SM free and I didn’t realize how addicted I was until I tried to stop. The first 1-2 weeks are the hardest. Even the muscle memory in my hands would automatically to try to open apps that were no longer in their spots on my phone. It was so weird. But now I don’t even care about SM. The relief feels so good. It’s almost like weight being taken off your shoulders.. no more feelings walking around with a foggy mind either.

    #DISCONNECT

  17. Go play outside, stop talking about feelings, go ride in the back of a pickup truck, ask your parents for a real butt whooping and don't call the cops . Stay off your darn phone, go play red rover, play dodge ball . Problem isn't social media..it's our current state of humanity and the poor me attitude.

  18. Hahah that’s their fault. Tell your kids to stay off it, and they still get on it. Put parental restrictions on their phone and they freak out. All because they want to be a “cool kid”

  19. I'm almost 50 years old and I feel hopeless too, it's not social media, it's media and capitalism.

  20. So glad I am54 and didn't grow up with this garbage

  21. Good point, if you utilise "social media" you are nutters.

  22. It's too late to fix these SNS problems..

  23. Just amazing how social media can make us create an avatar and then make us give it so much importance , we zone out of the physical world, that actually pays the bills to have that avatar in the first place.

“You live with your parents but you own a property in the meta verse”

  24. It's because teenagers live on phone apps. Instagram, Snapchat, Tik-Tok, Facebook, Twitter, put the phone down and actually live, Try actually have a conversation with someone . That actually means talking to someone. But teenagers seem like they're never interested in anybody but themselves and the phone apps. You try talking to them and they look at you like you're from another world there like are you actually speaking to me. Their phone is more important than real life! They love the attention of the phone apps.

  25. 20 years too late. The programming is complete. No shame. No morals. No dignity. No doubt.

  26. Get off instagram and TikTok. Easy…

  27. So sad 🤦🏾‍♂😢

  28. it impacts adults too and make them d$#@er, that's why planes are almost crashing, trains derailing.

  29. You mean the fact that parents raised this generation on cell phones and devices? These kids are losing their identity because they follow people so heavily that they just forget to live their own life. The boys these days they fall girls online but they don't know how to talk to them in real life. Good luck to this generation they're lost in The Matrix.

  30. Im a 23 year old female and I have literally NEVER had social media. I have never even been on any of the sites. Due to this i am very confident In myself, I workout daily, I read, I hike, I'm a chef, I own my own home, own my car, I work full time from home (a job I love) I don't watch t.v, I'm only on YT maybe 30 minutes a day and that's usually only in winter bc I have a giant vegetable garden in the summer, hike, swim and offroad etc. Please, quit social media you really do not need it. If you think you'll lose your friends, you probably will. Because when they (and you) have to make a conscious effort to text or call them, you'll realize how many true friends you have. Not to mention, be beautiful for yourself, workout for yourself, eat nutritious food for yourself, nobody benefits, nobody is inspired and frankly nobody cares for more than the second they pause on your post. Go get a life and live it for yourself.

  31. Not just teens. Twitter made two 'men' so crazy one created a pathetic Twitter knock off and the other bought Twitter.

  32. What do you expect when boys are allowed to use the girls locker rooms, and restrooms?
Trust an adult! Lmao. The adults are the people pushing the boys into our restrooms, with their cellphones, and picture taking. If we say anything, we get in trouble.

  33. Social media can have major negative affects on not just teens but anyone giving it a great deal of their time.

  34. Imo anyone especially teens who suffer from mental illnesses, should not be on social media. The majority of it is either toxic or unhelpful.

  35. It's the economy Joe Biden has burdened parents with. Kids get less parental guidance as parents struggle to make ends meet. Don't just look at the surface of the issues ! Course you all will NEVER go against your GOD Joe Biden !!!!

  36. 10 years too late on this one lmao

  37. Also toxic positivity to over-woke snowflakes exist!!
People fought for equal not for a race to be better than all others it's history repeating itself!! In reverse

  38. It's also funny this is only about social media what about gaming addictions and how toxic places especially like Discord to Snapchat etc can be?

  39. Maybe parents should try some parenting? But Im sure we will get legislation that makes doing basic things harder for everyone else instead.

  40. Leftist social media is a cancer on society .

  41. Let your dreams be bigger than your profile. Try texting/calling you friends instead.

  42. As soon as she said climate change, I checked out and stopped watching.
