This isn't a new thing. Half the profiles on normal dating websites (not Tinder) are fake anyway. You should insist on a video call, Zoom for example, to prove the other person is human. If he or she starts explaining they work as a cook on an offshore oil platform and therefore they're not "allowed" to use video…delete them.
