Also, if the Democrats really had it together they'd understand that they need to stop trying to get a certain percentage of white people to vote for them. The needle hasn't moved since 1964. If they put as much work into actually countering voter suppression and getting their voters out (the reason HRC lost and why they don't have two Senate seats (WI/NC) this last midterm) then Republicans as we currently know them, would be over. Democrats stop being led by the nose by D.C. consultants (who work both sides) and do the ground up hard work that actually gets people elected. Republicans don't defeat Democrats, more often than not Democrats defeat themselves. New York is the perfect example.
