Texas state officials are urging spring breakers not to travel to Mexico due to “ongoing violence throughout the country.” NBC News’ Sam Brock has more details on the announcement after four Americans were kidnapped when traveling South of the border.

News are trying to hit México turist econonomy but if you are not involve with drug cartels nothing to worry about
every year they come up with an excuse to tell people not to travel to Mexico. They don't want Americans to get cheap food with real ingredients, medicine, healthcare, vacations. They want you spending overpriced everything in the U.S instead. Eat food that causes cancer and type 2 diabetes, spend money at overpriced events and stay at overpriced hotels, buy overpriced medicine from big pharma. It happens every year, different reason. Yeah there's violence in Mexico as the cartel battle authorities to bring in the colossal order of drugs to satisfy the U.S demand, but they don't wanna jeopardize tourism, that's money too.

I’ve mostly spent my spring break at home . My sis and her boyfriend went to Mexico last year and they were safe and my friend Shelby went to Mexico last year for Christmas and she was safe too . But I say it’s time for a new destination. Austria 🇦🇹 England home of the Beatles, and Israel .

Four people were kidnapped but they forget to mention all of them had drug related charges on them including drug distribution. And yes stay in the US ya'll are making Mexico City more expensive than even New York city. Some rents are now up to $5,500 dollars a month and little to no Mexicans beside workers in some neighborhoods. Like we love Americans coming and bringing their culture down to Mexico. But please don't say it's cheap. It's cheap for you not for the locals.
