NYC’s Museum of Chinese in America to reopen in 2025 after five-alarm fire



Thousands of artifacts were feared lost forever when a 2020 5-alarm fire struck the Museum of Chinese in America in New York City, but the museum recovered 95% of its collection while it dealt with a pandemic and a wave of anti-Asian hate. NBC News’ Vicky Nguyen reports on the museum’s comeback and its creative vision for a rebirth.
