Poor lady 😢I really want to believe she was the victim of this ski accident.
*Gwyneth Paltrow is a decent actor but winning an Academy Award should not excuse her behavior.
*She didn't wait to see how the skier she collided with was injured. Instead, she left the scene of the accident as fast as possible by placing her ethical and legal responsibilities on a stranger, the ski instructor she hired that day. She did not check on the injured skier.
*The skier was moaning because he had four broken ribs. This is very painful! Yet, Paltrow allowed her very expensive defense attorney to let her lead testimony with implying that she thought he was sexually assaulting her. This is where her acting chops were dismal.
*Paltrow admits that the skier slammed to the ground with her, which is consistent with him being diagnosed with a concussion and long term injury.
*If it happened to someone who is supporting her here, she wouldn't care about your condition if she knocked you down–as witnessed in her testimony.
*Paltrow is clearly avoiding and lying when while under oath. She was strategic and memorized the story with her very expensive attorneys and knew when she had to "stretch" the truth. She's not that good of an actor.
*She was looking at her son and collided into the skier. Simple story, sad outcome for her negligence and now worse to display her inability to take responsibility for herself.
*The only eye witness was interviewed under oath and supports the skier's account that Paltrow was above him and collided with him.
*Paltrow has had multiple lawsuits and bad press for her company where she price gouges products she promotes and makes claims that have no credible research behind them.
*Paltrow's behavior is unconscionable and makes her a terrible role model for a mother. She's even dragging her kids into the trial. Who does that?
*Paltrow's defense counsel while questioning her on the stand led her to imply by portraying a 69-year-old doctor skiing on a beginner slope who instantly had four broken ribs to be attempting to sexually assault her instead of admitting she turned her head and ran into him. This is beyond an unconscionable legal strategy to malign this victim who was seriously injured. How desperate can the defense be to go that low and be so out of touch of reality of a beginner skier who was just hit and broke four ribs?
*Paltrow's behavior is to avoid admitting that she turned to watch her son instead of looking down the hill for the skiers below her on a crowded slope even though there were witnesses that heard him call for her to watch him just before she collided with the victim.
*Hopefully, the jury doesn't think that a celebrity can't lie or be so autocratic as to not accept responsibility for her actions.
*BTW, Paltrow is worth $200+ million and apparently can buy anything or anyone she feels entitled to do so. She appears as an entitled, heartless celebrity. No one is above the law in a democracy.

From the ski patrol perspective, the person who is uphill / behind the other individual is responsible for not colliding with the person below. I have not watched the testimony but if she hit him (i.e. if he was below / ahead of her on the mountain) it is her fault. And the same goes for him, if he was uphill / behind her it is his responsibility to avoid the person below. No one has eyes in the back of their head. These policies are stated on just about every ski mountain website and typically on signage around the mountain.
My bet is that Raimonde was in cahoots with Sanderson to commit fraud in order to get some money out of Paltrow. They probably thought she would settle out of court.
Easy money! He figured she would just settle out of court and wouldn't go to trial. He's a scumbag. Probably targeted her! He has had MRI's for head trauma from 2006 and now wants to blame it on her.

Gawd the plaintiff's attorney is just dismal. I'm a trial attorney and I'm finding this examination painful to watch. And raising matters that were excluded on a pretrial motion is beyond the pale.
