A quick-thinking young girl and a group of researchers rescued a Giant Pacific octopus that was stranded on a beach in Mount Vernon, Washington. KING’s Brady Wakayama reports.

Why do people on the news always talk with that super dramatic voice?
With respect – these Octopus live to 3-5 years old – and that creature was on its last leg of its lifespan for sure. Its not an accident it was beached. This salvation was to buy this creature a few more days maybe, while depriving other creatures a meal.

Animals have feelings and commit suicide too. They're starving to death and are suffering. Maybe leave them die. Even if they take it in they put it in a tank alone and they do look extremely alone and depressed.
