The death toll in an explosion at a Pennsylvania chocolate factory has risen to seven, according to West Reading Police Chief Wayne Holben, as investigators work to determine the cause of the blast. NBC News’ George Solis has the details.

There was a sugar plant in the 80's that blew up and burned because of lack of maintenence on the powdered sugar section of the plant. 12 people were killed in that one. Sugar dust is flammable and explosive in the right conditions, as well as grain dust. Silo explosions can still happen. My sadness and condolences to the victims and thier families.

An icing sugar cloud and a spark are usually the culprits watching the explosion. Just like at Imperial Sugar Georgia, 2008. 14 dead, dozens injured.

Well, this is obviously Trump's fault….
God Keep those families in his loving arms. This does not seem possible to be an accident that would explode with such force . That is something planted for some reason. People lost their life and some lost their way to make a living for years there. God Bless that community.

Two questions: who owns the factory and have they ever received OSHA citations or any other citation for an unsafe work environment? There is far more to this story than is being reported.
