That poor woman. Living in her damaged home with her beloved cat. We need to provide shelter for people who have pets. The fact that people have to choose to leave a pet behind is ridiculous in today's society. It's a life that deserves safety. A lot of people stay home during emergencies because they don't want to leave their pets behind. I hope going forward more states will allow people to bring their pets to shelters and or hotels after the emergency so they can stay together as a family
